It is with immense pleasure that we announce our collaboration for the second Italian episode of what is one of the most important Campus of Battery and Percussion at the international level.
Wisely organized now in many countries of the world by the Italian-Canadian Didatta of International Levatura Mr Aldo Mazza the KOSA campus will see the presence in the faculty of our National President Mr Gigi Morello and the Deputy National Educational Director GM Drum School Mr Cristiano Courage who will teach alongside some of the best American and Italian Didactics.

KoSA Calabria – 21-24 July 2016
This summer, immerse yourself in southern Italian Drumming, percussion and rhythms in the wonderful setting of the seaside town of Locri (Calabria), in southern Italy. The wonderful natural scenery of this beautiful region of southern Italy is unparalleled to achieve this cultural experience!
Program
All participants will receive lessons in the following subjects:
Drumset (Funk, Jazz, Cuban & Rock)
Drumset/Frame drums and Drumset/Djembe: Hybrid playing concepts Tamburello and Drum set combination
Lessons
4 intensive lessons per day in small groups with the duration for each lesson of 1 and 30 minutes.
Concerts
Every evening there will be a concert at the Cinema Vittoria "Red Room". All concerts of the festival will be open to the public.
Jam sessions
Every evening concert will follow, there will also be jam sessions on the sea open to all participants.
Workshop Location
All the activities of the workshop will take place in the beautiful seaside resort of Locri, located in Calabria (south Italy). Lessons and concerts will take place at the "Red Room" of Cinema Vittoria. Well-placed, the small town of Locri is only 80 minutes from Lamezia Terme International Airport (www.lameziaairport.it), a central mez-zogiorno airport, served by major airlines and home to numerous rent-a-car agencies.
